Food Cannot Spread the Coronavirus Disease
It's crucial to realize that the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) is not currently aware of any reports of cases of human illnesses that would indicate COVID-19 can be spread through food or food packaging.
Food Safety Procedures
That We Will Maintain:
- During food preparation and handling, properly clean and sterilize all surfaces.
- Reiterate strict protocol for all of our sanitation initiatives.
- Provide our staff with the CDC's preventative education materials.
- Uphold stringent hand-washing regulations.
- Ensure that employees follow our sick leave policy, which call for them to stay at home if they're not feeling well.
New food service practices are implemented
All employees will wear masks whenever they are among guests and new disposable gloves whenever they are handling food, serving guests, or cleaning. All catering orders now include single wrapped cutlery and single disposable plates for the appetizers. We take employees' temperatures when they arrive at work, ask them how they are feeling, and send them home if they are not feeling well.
- We instruct the general public to follow the same protocol if they feel unwell and demand that sick employees stay at home. When it's practical, we give catering events 6 feet between tables. Our drivers have access to hand sanitizing solutions in all of our trucks for usage in between deliveries.
With the highest level of safety, we can make your event fantastic.
